About the Role

As a Platform Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and practices that empower our development teams to deliver high-quality software — efficiently and securely.
You’ll focus on automation, reliability, and scalability, working across engineering, cloud, and security teams to create a seamless developer experience and ensure operational excellence across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and platform services
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of infrastructure and workloads.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and scalability through proactive monitoring and best practices.
• Implement observability solutions for logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to streamline workflows and enable self-service capabilities.
• Advocate for DevSecOps principles and platform best practices across teams.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.

You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused roles.
• A background in software development, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles & architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerisation, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Knowledge of observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Scripting or programming experience in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Solid understanding of networking and security best practices.
